Biographical NoteEric Henri Kennington was an English artist, illustrator and sculptor, and an official war artist in both World Wars.

During the First World War, he served as a Private in the 13th Bn., London Regiment and, as a war artist. Following the end of the war, he worked on portraits and book illustrations. In 1925, Kennington executed the sculptural work for the Soissons Memorial, France (Unveiled 22 July 1926). He is also known for his work on the 24th Division memorial in Battersea Park, London.

He died on 13 April 1960.
