Content NoteIncludes: Application for a photo of Private Yaffo's grave, made by his wife Mrs Yaffo through the Canadian Forces, 31 March 1919; letter from the Directorate of Graves Registration and Enquiries to the Canadian Records Office, informing them that the grave had not yet been located, 30 April 1919; letter to the Director of Records, Militia Council Headquarters, Ottawa, Canada, with the information that the grave of Private Yaffo was now registered in Anneux British Cemetery, 29 December 1922; enquiry form, dated 13 June 1932, detailing that Private Yaffo's brother had seen a headstone displayed in the visitor's room and asked if the cross had been engraved on the headstone, and, after being told it had, asked for the Jewish emblem to be engraved instead; letter from the Deputy Director of Works to the IWGC Vice Chairman, Fabian Ware, stating that a new headstone had been engraved and installed in Anneux Cemetery, c. 23 August 1932; letter from IWGC Secretary to Mr Yaffo, informing him that the headstone on his brother's grave had been replaced, 2 September 1932.
