Driscoll reporting that Lieutenant Colonel Mercer’s grave was in good condition and that in 1954 the Commission decided that soldiers buried in Simla Old Cemetery would be commemorated on the memorial in Kirkee War Cemetery owing to the poor standard of maintenance, dated 18 June 1958.
