Lucraft explaining that Tree Copse Cemetery was located in a strict military zone, which required a permit from the Governor in Chanak to visit, and that the Gallipoli Peninsula could only be accessed by motor boat, dated 15 June 1955; letter from the Area Superintendent, Gallipoli Branch, to the IWGC Secretary confirming the formalities for foreigners desiring to visit the Gallipoli Peninsula, with attached shipping and air service schedule, dated 23 June 1955; handwritten letter from Mrs. D. Lucraft to the IWGC Secretary enquiring whether a pilgrimage was being organised for the 50th anniversary of the landing at the Dardanelles, dated 8 December 1964; letter from M.J. Lawless, CWGC Director-General, to Mrs. D. Lucraft explaining that the Commission did not organise pilgrimages and that she should contact Mr. F.J. Cubitt of Norwich who was planning a trip, and that the Commission were publishing a series of books entitled “Their Name Liveth” to commemorate the 50th anniversary, dated 17 December 1964; handwritten letter from Mrs. D. Lucraft to the IWGC requesting a copy of the book and enquiring about the death of her other brother killed during the First World War, Charles H. Dawe, dated 11 April 1965.
