Ames to the CWGC Director-General explaining that the funds were to be used towards the placing of wreaths of Captain Hoare’s grave four times a year, dated 20 March 1961; letter from A.R.C. Ames stating that the Commission were only able to place wreaths on Captain Hoare’s grave if the wreaths were sent to them or funds were sent at certain times of year for the express purpose of purchasing wreaths, dated 18 July 1963. |
