Description	File of correspondence regarding the grave of Private Andrew Parker. The subject of the correspondence is the movement of the place of commemoration of Private Parker, owing to the abandonment of Vernham Dean (St Mary the Virgin) Churchyard, the cemetery in which he was buried. A headstone bearing a suitable superscription to his memory was placed at a right angle to the war graves plot in Andover Cemetery, England.
Content Note	Includes: Typed report from W F Cole, the Regional Director, to the CWGC Director General, with the information that Vernham Dean Churchyard had been abandoned and the Parochial Church Council had cancelled its agreement with the Commission, and that it was recommended the place of commemoration for Private Parker be moved, 25 October 1962; letter from A R C Prentis to Mr Alfred Parker, the casualty's father, informing him of the situation, 5 June 1964.
