Hobart, War Office, stating that Private Vince was buried by his father, dated 18 January 1918; letter from the Regional Works Officer, for Regional Director, to the Director-General, Director of External Relations and Records, concerning the erection of a Commission headstone on the unmarked grave of Private Vince as there were no known living relatives and the Rector agreed to the provision of a headstone, dated 4 April 1962; letter from the Regional Director to the Director General, Department of Works, explaining that Private Vince’s headstone was not erected on the correct grave, and because the actual location of the grave could not be established and churchyard was in a very untidy state, alternative commemoration was being considered, dated 6 October 1965.
