DescriptionFile of correspondence concerning Lieutenant Walter Tom Crosby Wright who is commemorated on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial to the MIssing, France. Correspondence is between Lieutenant Wright's family and the Commission concerning the current location of his grave or commemoration and later correspondence from the Commission to Wright's brother explaining that the grave referred to in Heath Cemetery that was apparently visited by the family in 1922 was actually a Memorial Cross and that Lieutenant Wright was commemorated on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial as he had no known grave.

Porter of 20th Tank Battalion to Wright's father regarding the location of Lieutenant Wright's grave in Heath Cemetery, dated 14 February 1919; Enquiry form regarding enquiry from next of kin about the grave, dated 19 August 1954; Response letter from Mr Wilfred Strong, brother of Lieutenant Wright, explaining that the family visited the spot where a Memorial Cross had been erected in 1922 and his mother had taken his brother's identification disc, dated 11 September 1954.
