Description	File of correspondence concerning the grave of Captain Harry Sherwood Ranken VC in Braine Communal Cemetery, France. Correspondence regarding the request by the Reverend.Henry Rankin, Honorary Chaplain to the Forces, to have a personal memorial erected in France to his son, a wish subsequently modified to a request for a particular inscription to be aplied to the standard CWGC gravestone, his plea to have the installation of the gravetone expedited as both the Rev. Ranken and his wife were elderly and wished to see the stone erected before they died and their concern that the stone was not being properly maintained.
