File of correspondence concerning the grave of The Rev. J.D. Burns in Ebblinghem Military Cemetery, France. Correspondence concerning request from Burns's wife as to whether her ashes could be buried with her husband to which the Commission raised no objections. Further correspondence regarding procedure for interment which was carried out on 21 February 1966.

Includes: Letter from Rev W.H Osmund Moss for Rev J.D Burns widow. Letters from British office of CWGC and French office CWGC. Also letter outlining Thomas Cook and Son takes ashes to France to be interred. Request for no publicity, religious or memorial ceremony during the internement. Mrs Burns name not on the grave.
