Internal note explaining that the personal inscription to be inscribed on Bourke’s grave had been sent in by his father, dated 17 January 1924. Copy note written by Sir Fabian Ware explaining that he knew Bourke’s father during his time in South Africa and that is difficult to carry out Mr Bourke’s wishes as the grave was already planted and being cared by the Commission, dated 24 October 1927.
