File of correspondence concerning the grave of Lieutenant Alfred Edward Gaby VC and the place of commemoration of Second Lieutenant Archibald John Tye MC. Main topics include correspondence regarding an enquiry from a woman who was the cousin of Second Lieutenant Tye and the fiancée of Lieutenant Gaby asking for the whereabouts of their graves, with response from the Commission giving the location details of Heath Cemetery where Gaby is buried and of the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial where Tye is commemorated as he has no known grave. Later correspondence from a member of the public asking for details of Gaby’s grave location in order to request for the British Legion to photograph it.
