Request to have full Christian name (Ralph) inscribed on headstone and separate request for the return of the wooden cross on the grave. Later correspondence from next of kin regarding "black spots" (ringworm lichen) on crosses in cemetery.

Letter of gratitude from next of kin for the return of the wooden cross, dated 29 Mar 1922. Inspection report by H. Robinson confirming condition of Montgomery's headstone, dated 25 Aug 1933.
