Description
Correspondence concerning the condition of the grave belonging to 2nd Lt. Walter Greenstead, from his commanding officer Captain H.H. Gibson and widow Mrs Dorothy Greenstead (later Haggard). Multiple requests for updates concerning the general care, maintenance and appearance of the grave, in addition to 1930s correspondence from the Commission informing Mrs Haggard that her husband was reburied in Hulste Communal Cemetery and the grave would require a new headstone carved.
Content Note
Includes: Over ten handwritten letters from Mrs Dorothy Greenstead (later Haggard) concerning the grave of her husband, and a Final Verification Form recording the new inscription to be carved on her husband's replacement gravestone.
