Description
Correspondence regarding an enquiry into the burial location for Major Holland and Second Lieutenant Scallan. Later correspondence concerning a letter from a Colonel Hogan (retired ex-Gunner with an interest in the Old Contemptible Association) requesting for a plaque or additional inscription be added to Holland's grave to indicate he was the first Royal Artillery office to die during the First World War. Response from the Commission explaining why this would not be possible.
