Description
Correspondence concerning request from Private Finnegan’s next of kin for a photograph of his grave and explaining that no grave had been located. Further correspondence concerning photograph of the incorrect grave was sent out and burial of Private Finnegan carried out by Reverend R.L. Whytehead, C.F., attd. 2/3rd London Regiment at a spot between Noreuil and Vaulx-Vraucourt. Amendment of casualty’s surname on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial to the Missing from “Finnigan” to “Finnegan”.
