Further correspondence concerning photograph of the incorrect grave was sent out and burial of Private Finnegan carried out by Reverend R.L. Whytehead, C.F., attd. 2/3rd London Regiment at a spot between Noreuil and Vaulx-Vraucourt. Amendment of casualty’s surname on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial to the Missing from “Finnigan” to “Finnegan”.
