Correspondence from Commission's Area Superintendent for Eastern Area, UK, regarding the loss of letters from the stone cross marking grave and the next of kin's request for a Commission headstone to be erected over the grave. Correspondence regarding erection of a Commission pattern headstone over Sergeant Bootle's grave and the next of kin's wish for no personal inscription to be engraved on the headstone. Handwritten letter from next of kin expressing her wish for no personal inscription to be engraved on the Commission headstone erected over the grave, dated 24 July 1956.
