Description
File of correspondence concerning the grave of Gunner Joseph Cocks in Cardiff (Cathays) Cemetery, United Kingdom. Correspondence from stonemasons F.T. Mossford and Co. Ltd. writing on behalf of the casualty's next of kin regarding their request to have the Commission's headstone re-erected and an additional inscription added, after Gunner Cocks' grave was opened for the interment of his widow's remains. Response from the Commission allowing for the additional inscription, suggesting it be made on the reverse side of the headstone as there was no room on the front side.
