File of correspondence concerning the grave of Driver P. Shehan, who was originally buried in Sweveghem Churchyard with 32 other British graves until he was subsequently exhumed and reburied with these graves into Vichte Military Cemetery, Belgium in 1933. Main topics include an enquiry from the next of kin into the location of Shehan's grave, dated 10 August 1921, and correspondence from the Commission addressed to the next of kin informing them of the decision to move Shehan's remains into Vichte Military Cemetery to ensure proper maintenance in perpetuity.
