File of correspondence concerning the grave of Gunner William Mayell in Tottenham Park Cemetery, United Kingdom. Main topic concerns the maintenance of 39 war graves in Tottenham Park Cemetery and correspondence addressed to Gunner Mayell’s widow explaining the difficulties in ensuring the individual war graves were maintained to a satisfactory standard and the proposal to create a memorial garden using the headstones elsewhere in the cemetery. Later correspondence addressed to the next of kin explaining that the details of Gunner Mayell and 37 war burials in Tottenham Park Cemetery would be inscribed on a screen wall in Edmonton Cemetery where maintenance would be assured and the existing headstones would be removed.
