Second Lieutenant WILLIAM ERIC VYVIAN DOUGLAS-JONES - ESTAIRES COMMUNAL CEMETERY - Royal Field Artillery
A series of four letters (one of them a copy) conveying an offer to the father of the casualty, W. Douglas-Jones, Esq., to replace his son’s deteriorating personal memorial with an IWGC headstone. However, the IWGC did not receive a response, because he no longer lived at the address supplied to the Commission.
Includes: Four letters addressed to Mr W. Douglas-Jones, Esq., and a handwritten message noting the response from the new owner of the property.
