DescriptionThe records within this section relate to the operational work of the Commission. Traditionally this has been split between two main areas of concern – construction and structural maintenance of cemetery sites, memorials and headstones (historically referred to as Works); and the horticultural planting, landscaping and ongoing horticultural maintenance of such sites (historically referred to as Hort). The files for the most part reflect this distinction and separation of functions, and consist of various records including cemetery plans and architectural drawings, cemetery files, site inspection and maintenance reports, works and hort manuals, and project files.
