Appointment of Mr H. A. H. Cortazzi, First Secretary, British Embassy, Tokyo, and Mr R. Q. Quentin-Baxter, Councellor, New Zealand Embassy, Tokyo, as Commonwealth Members of the Commonwealth-Japanese Joint Committee; appointment of Mr Michiya Matsukawa, Financial Councillor, Ministry of Finance, as Japanese Member of the Commonwealth-Japanese Joint Committee.

Charleville Communal Cemetery, Ardennes, France
Approval of the proposed removal of 172 Commonwealth war graves from Charleville Communal Cemetery, which had been closed and become increasingly difficult to maintain, to Terlincthun British Cemetery.

Commonwealth War Graves Commission Superannuation Scheme (1952) Trustees’ Powers of Investment – The Trustee Investments Act 1961: approval of the increased proportion of the investments (from 30% to 50%) that the Trustees were permitted to invest in equities following the introduction of the new Trustee Investment Act 1961.

Financial arrangements for the maintenance on an agency basis of Battle Exploit (Regimental and Unit) Memorials.
