Matters arising from the Minutes of the 452nd Meeting
Arrangements concerning the attendance of Major Bashir Ahmed, Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Longmore and Mr John Hogg at the Third Meeting of the Commonwealth-French Joint Committee.
The deaths of Mr H. A. McClure-Smith, Australian Ambassador to Italy and member of the Commonwealth-Italian Joint Committee, and Herr Otto Margraf, General-Secretary of the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgraberfursorge and member of the Commonwealth-German Joint Committee, were reported.

Approval of the proposed removal of 172 Commonwealth war graves from Charleville Communal Cemetery, which had been closed and become increasingly difficult to maintain, to Terlincthun British Cemetery.
Commonwealth War Graves Commission Superannuation Scheme (1952) Trustees’ Powers of Investment – The Trustee Investments Act 1961: approval of the increased proportion of the investments (from 30% to 50%) that the Trustees were permitted to invest in equities following the introduction of the new Trustee Investment Act 1961.
