Report of the 495th Meeting of the Finance Committee
Expenditure authorised under the Recess Authority, which included preliminary site works at Jakarta (Menteng Poeloe) War Cemetery and the construction at Ambon War Cemetery and the Ambon Memorial; completion of construction work at Maynamati War Cemetery; maintenance at Tyne Cot Cemetery and Memorial; estimated cost for the concentration of graves in Sweden; adjustments in temporary currency and local allowances in the Northern Region; promotion of Mr Symon and Mr Lonsdale within the Establishment Department at Head Office.

Appointment of His Excellency Mr A. B. F. Burger, South African Ambassador at Brussels, as South African Honorary Member of the Commonwealth-Belgian Joint Committee; appointment of Dr Felice Grazian, Medico Provinciale Capo, as Italian Official Member of the Commonwealth-Italian Joint Committee.

Suda Bay Consular Cemetery
Approval of the proposed removal of burials from Suda Bay Consular Cemetery, except for 15 Russian graves, to Suda Bay War Cemetery.

Examination of Sketch Design for Cemetery and Memorial Construction. Tehran War Cemetery and the Tehran Memorial, Iran
Approval of the sketch design by Mr H. E. Jenner, ARIBA, for Tehran War Cemetery and the Tehran Memorial with details of the preliminary estimates for construction.

Kantara Indian Cemetery, Egypt, United Arab Republic
Approval for the proposed commemoration of the Muslim and Hindu servicemen originally buried or commemorated at Kantara Indian Cemetery in Kantara War Memorial Cemetery.

The Malta Memorial
Rescindment of Resolution No. 5 passed by the Commission at the 450th Meeting and authorisation for Edgar Allan Griffin, Regional Director, Southern Region, to sign an appended Resolution for the perpetual lease of site of the Malta Memorial.

Progress Report and Reports from the United Kingdom, Northern, Southern and Eastern Regions, Canadian Agency and Anzac Agency for the Pacific Region for the Quarter ended 30th June 1961 Report on the flooding of the area in which Kirkee War Cemetery was located; arrangements for the safeguarding of the Ottawa Memorial.
