Report of the 478th Meeting of the Finance Committee

Commonwealth-Danish Joint Committee
Appointment of J. R. McKinney, First Secretary at the Canadian Embassy in Copenhagen, as a member of the Commonwealth-Danish Joint Committee.

Approval of the sketch design for a special memorial in Willesden Jewish Cemetery designed by Mr R. Hobday, OBE, FRIBA.

Unmaintainable graves – United Kingdom: Stoke Damerel Church Cemetery
Approval to remove two Commission headstones from Stoke Damerel Church Cemetery and for their re-erection in Plymouth (Weston Hill) Cemetery.

Arrangements for the maintenance on an agency basis of Battle Exploit (Regimental and Unit) Memorials.

Progress Report and Reports from Regions and Agencies for the Quarter ended 31st March 1959 Report on the completion of 91.4% of all construction work; outstanding construction Africa and the Middle East due to political conditions; delayed construction in the Anzac Agency due to political difficulties in Indonesia.

General Notes
Report on the introduction of the Commission’s film at Birmingham and Manchester; account of visit by the Secretary to cemeteries in France; details of forthcoming visit of Secretary to Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon; announcement regarding the death of J.
