Mentions visit of Her Majesty the Queen to Oslo Western Cemetery, Norway, on 24 June 1955.

Provision of assistance and designation of successor to Vice-Chairman
Refers to the appointment of General Sir John Tredinnick Crocker, G.C.B., K.B.E., D.S.O., M.C., as Vice-Chairman of the Commission at the expiration of the term of office of the present Vice-Chairman (Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Longmore, G.C.B., D.S.O.) on 17 June 1957, with General Sir John Crocker nominated to assist Sir Arthur Longmore in the meantime.

Report of the 327th Finance Committee meeting
Item 2 recommended that the usual provisions be made for the authorisation of expenditure during the recess by the Vice-Chairman in consultation with the Treasury Representative on the Finance Committee.
Item 3 referred to the replacement of panels at the Thiepval Memorial.
Item 4 concerned the publication of further parts of "Their Name Liveth".
Item 5 contained the recommendations of the recent Meeting of the Joint Negotiating Committee, of which Mr Sylvester was Chairman.
Item 18 referred to the construction of Chittagong War Cemetery.

Appointment of Members to the Commonwealth-Italian Joint Committee
Refers to the appointment of members to the committee with a list of Honorary and Official Members.

Yokohama Commonwealth War Cemetery
Resolution that the proposal for the Memorial in the Indian Forces Section of Yokohama Commonwealth War Cemetery, Japan to bear the inscription "Indian Forces 1939-1945" and on one side face "India" and on the other "Pakistan" be adopted.

Mosul 1914-1918 Prisoner of War Cemetery, Iraq
Resolution for Mosul 1914-1918 Prisoner of War Cemetery, Iraq, to be no longer retained as a war cemetery.

Examination of sketch design by Sir Hubert Worthington, R.A., Principal Architect for North Africa, for Le Petit Lac Cemetery, Oran, with suggestion from Chief Architect and Artistic Adviser Sir Edward Maufe, Esq., R.A. for the omission of the seats from the design.

51st Quarterly Report for the maintenance of war graves in the United Kingdom
Refers to Annual Act of Remembrance Service at the Runnymede Memorial, as well as oak seat at Pershore Cemetery, and the marking of Polish and Greek graves in the United Kingdom.

Appointment of new Trustee - Superannuation Scheme
Refers to appointment of General Sir John Tredinnick Crocker, G.C.B., K.B.B., D.S.O.,M.C. as a Trustee or The Imperial War Graves Commission Superannuation Scheme (1952) to fill the vacancy caused by the death of the Right Honourable Sir Richard Hopkins, G.C.B.

Maintenance of Plymouth Naval Memorial
Resolution for the signature and affixation of the Commission’s seal to the Deed of Agreement in duplicate between the Commission and the Corporation of the City of Plymouth for the maintenance by the Corporation of the gardens and surrounds of the Naval Memorial on The Hoe at Plymouth for an annual contribution from the Commission of £50.

General notes
Mentions of the visit of H.M.S. Glasgow to Gdynia in Poland, where a party of Royal Marines had visited Malbork War Cemetery. Also mentions the visit of the Commanding Officer and a party of the ship's company of H.M.S. Plover to Tonsberg Cemetery in southern Norway, as well as the visit of the Commander-in-Chief of the Mediterranean Fleet to certain of the war cemeteries in Gallipoli and to the Cape Helles Memorial.

Mention of arrangements for the unveiling of the Halifax Memorial on 31 July 1955.

Mention that two members of the Canadian Parliament, Colonel A.J. Brooks and Lieutenant-Colonel D.C. Harkness, were at that time making a tour of the cemeteries in France, Belgium, Holland, and later Italy.

Mention that it would be the last Commission meeting attended by P.N. Haksar, Esq., the representative of the High Commissioner for India.
