Report of the 420th meeting of the Finance Committee and annual estimates for 1955-1956
Mentions the annual estimates and the figure recommended for the year 1955-1956 was shown.
Item 3 indicated construction at Cassino War Cemetery was now in view.
Item 5 dealt with the expenditure of an additional sum of £4,400 on the construction of a wall at Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia, recommended by Sir John Crocker and the Secretary during their recent tour.
Item 15 referred to the construction of a central memorial in the Czechoslovak Plot at Brookwood Military Cemetery.
