Reading of a letter of the 24th September received from H.J. Creedy of the Army Council regarding the Commission and the provision of land by the French government for burials of the present War.
Update following meeting on 12th July referring to the situation in France and the question of the status of Commission staff during the war, with a provisional and regulated procedure agreed as a result of the Anglo-French Mixed Committee’s meeting and Colonel Chettle’s visit which allowed staff to continue to carry out their duties as before.
Adoption of the Report of the 6th Meeting of the Anglo-Italian Mixed Committee.
Adoption of the Report of the 19th Meeting of the Education Committee.
Resolution that Mr Jean Desy be appointed an Official Member of the Anglo-Belgian Mixed Committee in succession to the Honourable Vincent Massey.
Resolution that Lieutenant-General H.M. Wilson, D.S.O. be appointed an Honorary Member of the Anglo-Egyptian War Cemeteries Executive Committee in succession to Sir Robert Gordon-Finlayson.
Mentions the figures of the discoveries and burials in France and Belgium from 1 July to 5 August inclusive were submitted to the meeting.
