Tyrrell, IWGC Secretary, enquiring whether the listed position of Private Orsler’s grave was correct, as the Commission stated the located was Row A, Grave No. 11, but appeared to be in Grave No. 5, dated 23 September 1954; note from F. Tyrrell to Mr. Maybury, IWGC, explaining that graves 1 to 6 had been removed and reburied in Grave Nos. 44 to 49 at the end of the row due to realignment of the road, but the graves had not been renumbered, and that arrangements should be made to inscribe the end headstone to read A.7 and not A.1, dated 27 September 1954; sketch plan of Aulnoye Communal Cemetery showing the correct numbering of the graves and location of the repositioned graves, dated 29 November 1954.
