Consideration of Report No.53. Resolution to accept the report.

2. Headstone foundations, Sudfriedhof Cemetery, Cologne
Consideration of report from Director of Works regarding the erection of headstones in Sudfriedhof Cemetery, Cologne. Resolution to approve the expenditure of £1125 for the cost of putting in headstone foundations in Sudfriedhof Cemetery.

3. Erection of headstone over the grave of Miss P M Maltby, VAD, in Brookwood Cemetery
Consideration of report from Director of Records regarding the erection of a headstone over the grave of Miss Maltby interred in Brookwood Cemetery. Resolution to approve the erection of a headstone over the grave of Miss Maltby of a similar pattern to those erected over British War Graves in the cemetery.

4. Egyptian Labour Corps Memorial – conditions of contract
Consideration of letter from Chairman of the Anglo-Egyptian War Cemeteries Executive Committee with reference to the placing of a contract for the construction of the Egyptian Labour Corps Memorial. Resolution to authorise the Anglo-Egyptian War Cemeteries Executive Committee to consider and accept a tender for the construction of the memorial, subject to conditions.

5. Reduction of reserve in contract for construction of Menin Gate Memorial
Consideration of report from Land and Legal Adviser regarding an amendment to the contract for the construction of the Menin Gate Memorial. Resolution to reduce the figure Francs (Belgian) 750,000 in Line 11 of Clause 26 of the conditions of contract for the construction of the Menin Gate Memorial be reduced to Francs (Belgian) 525000.

6. Commemorative Tablets in French and Belgian Cathedrals
Consideration of minute from Principal Assistant Secretary and a report from the Director of Works with reference to the placing of Commemorative Tablets in Cathedrals in France and Belgium. Resolution to accept the offer of Mr R Hallward to execute 31 tablets commemorative of the dead of the British Empire who fell in the war to be erected in 31 Cathedrals in France and Belgium for the sum of £5009, and to approve the expenditure of £500. 18s. 0d. on the fees of Colonel de Lafontaine, the architect responsible for the design of the tablets.

7. Compassionate grant to dependants of Commission employees killed in accident at Etricourt.
Consideration of report from Land and Legal Adviser regarding the continuation of the grant to dependants of the men killed in the motor accident at Etricourt. Resolution to authorise the Vice-Chairman to continue the grant of £2 per head per week to the dependants of the men killed in the accident.
