1. Consideration of Vice Chairman’s report No.43 of Expenditure authorised under Resolution 4 (1) of the 43rd Meeting of the Commission, with the resolution that this be accepted

2. Consideration of report of expenditure from Commission funds for the month of November and December 1922 as submitted by the Chairman, with the resolution that this be accepted

3. Consideration of a report by the Finance Department re incidental expenses by the Commission in London, with the resolution that a sum of £500 be expended to defray these costs for the remainder of the year ending 31st March 1923

4. Consideration of reports by the Finance Department re administrative costs of the Commission in Macedonia, Palestine, Mesopotamia, Egypt, France and Italy, with the resolution that expenditure to defray these costs be approved up to the amounts and for the periods set out against their names

5. Consideration of resolution 11 of the 49th meeting of the Commission and a report by the Director of Works re the consideration of tenders for the construction of 13 cemeteries in France and Belgium, with the resolution that the tender by M Valere Duyvewaardt, Belgium be accepted at a sum of Francs 1,574,607.18, that a sum of Francs 157,470 be expended to meet the cost of contingencies and that a sum of Francs 70,000 to defray the costs of constructing a low enclosure wall around Guillemont Road Cemetery

6. Consideration of estimates amounting to £1,600 submitted by the Vice Chairman for 1923/24, with the resolution that this be approved

7. Consideration of reports by the Director of Works re the consideration of tenders for constructional work to be carried out in Shorncliffe Cemetery, with the resolutions that the tender by Messrs A Burslem and Sons for the erection of 434 headstones be accepted at a sum of £1168.3.8, that a sum of £115 be expended to meet the cost of contingencies and that a sum of £100 be expended to defray the cost of engraving personal inscriptions

8. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works and a certificate from Sir Frederick Kenyon re the consideration of tenders for constructional work to be carried out in Tidworth Military Cemetery, with the resolutions that the tender by Messrs G Kemp and Co be accepted at a sum of £1078.1s.9d, that a sum of £100 be expended to meet the cost of contingencies and that a sum of £20 be expended to defray the cost of the supply of a bronze sword to be affixed to the War Cross

9. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works and a certificate from Sir Frederick Kenyon re the consideration of tenders for constructional work to be carried out in Netley Military Cemetery, with the resolutions that the tender by Mr J C Langford be accepted at a sum of £957.0s.11d, that a sum of £100 be expended to meet the cost of contingencies and that a sum of £40 be expended to defray the cost of the supply of two bronze swords to be affixed to the War Cross

10. Consideration of correspondence re the erection of a memorial to the missing at Halifax, Nova Scotia, with the resolution that the consideration of this matter be adjourned until the next meeting of the Committee

11. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works and a tabulated statement showing estimated quantities re constructional work to be carried out at Haida Pasha Cemetery, Constantinople, with the resolution that a sum of £1696 be expended for this purpose

12. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works re constructional work to be carried out in Syra Cemetery, with the resolution that subject to the design of the cemetery being approved by the Commission, a sum of £617 be expended for this purpose

13. Consideration of a report by the Deputy Controller, France and a letter by the Controller and Financial Adviser re the move of the Branch Office No.1 Area, with the resolution that a sum of Francs 20,000 be expended on the erection of an office building in Ypres for this purpose and on the terms and conditions set forth in the letter from the Controller and Financial Adviser

14. Consideration of a letter from the Transport Adviser re the purchase of motor transport for the use of the Works Branch in France and Belgium, with the resolution that two four-seater Ford Cars be purchased for this purpose

15. Consideration of reports by the Principal Assistant Secretary re the extension of the appointment of the Lieutenant Colonel F R Durham, Director of Works, with the resolution that this be accepted for three years from 1st January 1923

16. Consideration of correspondence by the Chairman, Anglo-Egyptian War Cemeteries Executive Committee re the salaries of Commission staff in Egypt, with the resolution that this matter be adjourned until the next meeting

17. Consideration of a report by the Principal Assistant Secretary and Assistant Director of Works re the extension of appointments of five Assistant Registration Officers at £350-15-400 per annum and twelve Field Assistants at £150 per annum, with the resolution that this be accepted as from the 1st January 1923

18. Consideration of a letter from the Deputy Director of Works, East Africa and a letter from the Acting Deputy Director of Works, East Africa re the death of Lieutenant Colonel Evans, with the resolution that a grant of Florins 260 be made from the Commission’s Compassionate Fund to defray the cost of funeral expenses

19. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works re ground levelling alterations to Tyne Cot Cemetery, with the resolution that a sum of Francs 18,000 be expended for this purpose
