Appointment of Technical Adviser re Cemetery Registers Consideration of report from the Controller of Administration relating to the proposed appointment of a technical adviser on cemetery registers, with resolution that Mr Douglas Cockerill be appointed Technical Adviser on Cemetery Registers at a salary of £500 per annum
3. Chairman’s report on expenditure for month of January 1920 Consideration of the Vice-Chairman’s report of expenditure for the month of January 1920, with resolution that the report be accepted.
4. Concentration of Cemeteries in Macedonia Consideration of a report from the Controller of Administration relating to the concentration of cemeteries in Macedonia, with the resolution that the Inspector of Works be authorised to expend a sum of not exceeding £250 on the purchase of materials necessary for the removal of the bodies.
5. Tenders for Construction of Chichester Cemetery, Graylingswell Consideration of a report from the Director of Works relating to the construction of Chichester Cemetery, with resolution to authorise the Director of Works to negotiate with Messrs. Dove Brothers of London for a reduction of their tender.
6. Tenders for Cremona Cemetery, Italy Consideration of a report from the Director of Works relating to the construction of Cremona Cemetery, Italy, with resolution authorising the Inspector of Works, Italy to put out the contract for the construction of this cemetery to selected tender to the conditions that not less than eight firms be invited to tender of which three should be firms in the neighbourhood of Cremona or Milan and that the contract should provide that the item relating to the manufacture and erection of headstones may be treated as an extra to be omitted if so required.
7. Extras on Louvencourt Cemetery Contract Consideration of a report from the Director of Works relating to the construction of Louvencourt Cemetery and the under-pinning of an enclosure wall rendered necessary through settlement, with resolution of the expenditure of £25.12.1d. on the underpinning of the foundation of the stone retaining wall.
8. Transport of Great War Stones in France Consideration of a report from the Director of Works relating to the transport to France of 8 War Stones to be delivered by a Messrs H T Jenkins & Son, with resolution that the expenditure of a sum not exceeding £50 per stone or £400 in all be authorised for the purpose.
9. Drawing Instruments for IWGC, France Consideration of a report from the Director of Works relating to a request by the Deputy Controller, France, to be supplied with drawing instruments for the use of the Architects and Quantity Surveyors Department in France, with resolution that the Director of Works be authorised to expend a sum not exceeding £25 on the purchase of drawing instruments for the use of the Commission in France.
10. Any other business Consideration of a report from the Controller of Administration relating to a claim made by Mr A Hunt for the loss of personal effects while employed by the Commission in France, with resolution that the sum of £8 be expended from Commission funds in full settlement of the claim of Mr A Hunt against the Commission for the loss of his personal effects at St Omer.
