Consideration of a letter from Messrs Deloitte, Plender, Griffiths and Co re the authority to audit the Commission account under Subhead A, ‘Salaries, Wages and Allowances’, with the resolution that Messrs Deloitte, Plender, Griffiths and Co continue to audit Commission accounts and to not confine their audit under Subhead B

3. Consideration of a letter from the Treasury re the extra charge by the War Office for departmental expenses relating to the purchase of Stores by the IWGC for Gallipoli and a request by the Vice-Chairman to remove such excessive charges, with the resolution that the Commission should not be relieved of these charges

4. Consideration of a tabulated statement displaying the balance of treasury bills due on 21st February 1920 to the Commission, with the resolution that the opinion of the Treasury concerning the proper investment of £2000 treasury bills be followed accordingly

5. Consideration of a letter from the Controller of Administration and a report from the Horticultural Officer, Italy re the purchase of a nursery for the cultivation of stocks in Montecchio Precalcino, including a translated lease agreement from the owners of the field, with the resolution that the Inspector of Works be given authority to sign a lease for this plot of land for three years at an annual rate of lire 300

6. Consideration of a letter from the Inspector of Works, Macedonia re the purchase of Transport and Stores for the Commission in Macedonia, including a list of items and their estimated values, with the resolution that the Director of Works be given authority to expend £4620 for this purpose but that the Committee do not approve a sum of £60 for the purchase of rifles and ammunition

7. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works covering a letter from the Town Clerk of Chichester enquiring if the Commission would be willing to contribute £10 a year towards the maintenance of Chichester Cemetery, Graylingwell, with the resolution that this request be accepted

8. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works re a contract with the Hastings Corporation to supply them with one of the Great War Stones for a cemetery in France, with the resolution that a sum not exceeding £20 be expended on lettering and transporting the stone to Hastings Cemetery

9. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works re estimates for the erection and repair of headstones by Messrs Holloway Bros in Forceville and Lovencourt cemeteries, with the resolution that a sum not exceeding £290 be expended on 447 headstones for this purpose

10. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works re the estimates for cutting lettering on headstones by Messrs Holloway Bros in Forceville and Lovencourt cemeteries, with the resolution that a sum not exceeding £25 be expended for this purpose

11. Consideration of a report by the Director of Works, Gallipoli and the Finding of the Court of Enquiry re the sinking of the Thornycroft Motor Launch and the accessories onboard, with the resolution that the value of the motorboat and accessories be written off to amount of £929-1-10

12. Consideration of a letter from the Controller of Administration re payment owed to the late Commission driver, W Herron including a tabulated statement of W Herron’s pay sheet, with the resolution that the amount owed be handed to his next-of-kin either in currency or at the current rate of exchange
