consideration of report by Colonel de Lafontaine, Inspector of Works, France regarding the claim by Messrs. Tarrant and Company for extras incurred during construction of Le Treport Military Cemetery, with decision adjourned pending further report from the Inspector of Works;

consideration of letter received from Messrs. Deloitte, Plender, Griffiths and Co., auditors for the Commission relating to the giving of Treasury authority for expenditure from Commission funds, with agreement that a letter should be written to the Treasury on the matter in order to clarify the matter

consideration of offer from the Government of South Africa to undertake the collection of money due from the next of kin of South African soldiers for the engraving of private inscriptions on their headstones, with general discussion on the numbers of applications so far received, the process by which inscriptions were engraved and funds collected, and a general view being expressed that relatives were eager to contribute; with resolution to accept the offer and that the charge of 3 ½ d per letter be applied
