Consideration of a report from the Principal Assistant Secretary concerning additions to the staff of the London Office of the Commission, with resolution to approve the sum of £8000 to defray the salaries and wages of the additional personnel, the rates of pay to be settled by the Vice-Chairman in consultation with the Treasury

5. Appointment of Deputy Director of Works, Palestine
Consideration of request by the Principal Assistant Secretary to appoint Captain C T Gardner as Deputy Director of Works in Palestine, with resolution to recommend the immediate appointment of Capt. Gardner at the approved salary of £850/50/950

6. Increase of salaries of Commission’s staff in Egypt and allowance to Secretary of Anglo-Egyptian War Cemeteries Executive Committee
Consideration of letters from the Chairman of the Anglo-Egyptian War Cemeteries Executive Committee requesting the increase of the salaries of certain appointments on the staff of the Commission in Egypt and the payment of a personal allowance to the Acting Secretary to the Committee (Mr H E Bell), with resolution to pay Mr Bell a personal allowance of £20 per month, and to increase the salaries of the following appointments: Deputy Director of Works; Quantity Surveyor; Surveyor and Draughtsman; and Superintendent Clerk.

7. Claim from Army for hire of lorries in France
Consideration of a letter from the Finance Department relative to charges made by the War Department in respect of the hiring of Mechanical Transport vehicles, with resolution to approve the expenditure of francs 15490 to defray the cost of the hire of eight lorries between July 1919 and February 1920

8. Erection of wall at Cairo British Protestant Cemetery
Consideration of a letter from the Director of Works relating to the cost of a wall enclosing land made over to the Cairo British Protestant Cemetery Committee as compensation for land occupied by the War Memorial Cemetery, Cairo, with resolution to approve the expenditure of £E 3275 to defray the cost of the wall
9. Transport and miscellaneous expenditure, Palestine
Consideration of a letter from the Finance Department requesting authority for the expenditure needed to defray the cost of motor transport running expenses and miscellaneous expenses of the Commission in Palestine, with resolution to approve the expenditure of £1738 to defray the cost of these expenses for the period ending 31st March 1921

10. Claim by Mr J Glascock on account of increased wages paid to workmen – Headstone Contract No. 12
Consideration of a letter from the Director of Works relative to a claim made by Mr J Glascock (a contractor for the supply of headstones) to be allowed in ex gratia payment, with resolution that Mr Glascock be granted £70 in addition to the amount of his contract (Headstone Contract No.12) in consideration of wage conditions during the period of his contract
